Summer Swelter’s Back & It’s Gonna Sizzle
Every August, the parking lot at Horse Thief Hollow turns into the best block party in Beverly. This year is no different. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Aug. 15, because Summer Swelter is back, and we’ve packed it full of good food, good music, and good people.
Here’s what’s in store.
On the Grill
Chef Neil Byers is making Polish sausages (well, really German Jagerwurst) completely from scratch, using pork & beef sourced locally from Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, in a collaboration with Kimski’s Chef Won Kim on sides and fixings. It’s equal parts European tradition & Kimski creativity — the kind of dish you won’t find anywhere else. Come hungry.
We’ll also have HTH craft beers flowing all day, plus 3 Floyds cocktails for purchase if you’re looking to switch things up.
Live Music
Free outdoor show from The Juke Shakers and The Bourbon Belts, running 6:30–9:30 pm. BYO chair and settle in for a night of live music in the lot.

Our popup artisans market brings together a great lineup of local makers and small businesses, with goods and services available for purchase:

In case of bad weather, we’re not canceling this party—we’re taking it inside! Join us indoors if the parking lot turns into a puddle. We’ll still have a blast!
