March means St. Paddy’s Day, and that’s the season for Pat Mac’s Irish Red Ale. HTH Craft Society’s third Virtual Tasting features this classic ale, named for a neighborhood lad who passed away from brain cancer at the age of 13. His family and friends created the nonprofit Pat Mac’s Pack to celebrate his legacy and raise funds to support pediatric brain tumor research. Every year, we brew this traditional Irish Red Ale in Pat’s memory, and donate a portion of our beer sales to Pat Mac’s Pack. You can learn more about their efforts & support them at https://patmacspack.org/.
An easy drinking 5.1% ABV beer with toasty malt, caramel and toffee flavors, and a hint of chocolate. Pat Mac’s is delicious with our Adult Grilled Cheese, Cuban Sandwich, or BBQ Chicken at Horse Thief Hollow Brewing. Enjoy it at home with corned beef or shepherd’s pie, as well as Gruyere, brie, and Dubliner cheeses. Cheers!
