Launch Party Saturday, April 30, noon to 3:00 pm
It’s Firefighters vs. Police, in the very best way. We’re brewing a pair of beers to benefit two local organizations, each one providing mental health services for first responders. “Hold the Line” is a Bock developed at HTH with volunteer brewers from the Chicago Fire Department, with proceeds going to React4Ryan. “RDO Cancelled” is a Helles-style lager that we brewed with volunteers from the Chicago Police Department for the nonprofit organization Bank the Blue. Taste both and vote for your favorite at our launch party!
Our beer of the month club
The HTH Craft Society is a gift that beer lovers can enjoy throughout the year. It’s a great treat for yourself and makes a perfect gift for loved ones and friends who like craft beer and want to support a small, independent brewery.
Horse Thief Hollow has captured 8 medals and counting in prestigious beer competitions
We brew great beer and have the bling to prove it. In 2020, our Little Wing Pilsner snagged a Bronze Medal in the Great American Beer Festival. And Wrenly Rose won Gold at the Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beer. We also brought home the Gold in the 2018 World Beer Cup and a Silver Medal in the 2017 Great American Beer Festival for our French farmhouse ale Bière de Voleur, or Thief’s Beer. In 2016, we earned Bronze in the Great American Beer Festival for our Prunckle’s Dunkel, a dark German lager with nutty malted sweetness. We also snagged first place in the 2016 Festival of Barrel Aged Beers for a Bavarian wheat beer called Hilltop Weizenbock. The 2014 World Beer Cup awarded us a Silver Medal for our Cheval Deux, a fall seasonal French brown ale infused with sweet potato. And we earned a Bronze for our signature 18th Rebellion Kolsch Ale, a Zwickelbier, at the 2014 GABF.
